As part of MKAN welfare activity for the month of February, Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Ibafo Muqami has paid humanitarian visits to non-Ahmadis and Christians in its neighbourhood on 19th February, 2017.
The first family visited was Mr and Mrs Ojedele, Christians who reside in the mosque’s vicinity. They are both old but very good neighbours to our Jama’at members in the area. We chose to visit them to reciprocate their kind gesture and show them the beauty of Islam.
The second family visited was another old couple but a non-Ahmadi family – Baba and Mama Ilorin as they are popularly known. The wife has been a regular observer of Juma’at prayer in the mosque. Our aim of visiting this family was to get close to them to enable them know more about Ahmadiyya.
The third family was Alhaji Olanrewaju, one of the elders in the Jama’at. The aim of visiting him was to appreciate his untiring effort in coming to the mosque regularly despite his old age and distance of his house to the mosque.
A welfare package/gift was given to each of the families as 15 Majlis members participated in the exercise.
