His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Munirudeen Adesola Lawal, Laminasa I, the Timi of Edeland, warmly welcomed the leadership of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Nigeria (MKAN) to his palace, Aafin Timi Agbale, on Thursday, 17th April 2025. Receiving the delegation with open arms, the revered monarch expressed his delight at the gathering of youth in his domain, offering prayers for a successful and impactful convention.

Kabiesi appreciated the commitment of MKAN to nation-building through its morally grounded and disciplined youth. He extended his royal blessings and wished the delegation a fruitful stay in Ede, emphasizing his support for noble causes that promote peace, education, and development.

In his remarks, the Acting National President (Sadr) of MKAN, Mr. Idris Fashina, introduced the organization as a global Islamic youth movement that focuses on nurturing youths to become agents of positive change. He noted that MKAN actively promotes values such as discipline, service to humanity, and peaceful coexistence through initiatives like the “Stop The Crime” campaign and the “Ride for Peace” project.

He highlighted that the ongoing convention in Ede offers a unique opportunity for spiritual upliftment, moral rejuvenation, and intellectual development for participants from across the country. He further extended a formal invitation to the royal father to attend the National Symposium scheduled for Saturday, noting that his presence would be a great honour to the organization and participants.

The Acting Sadr concluded by appreciating the hospitality of the His Royal Majesty and reaffirmed MKAN’s commitment to working with traditional institutions in promoting peace and progress in society.
