Sadr MKAN Leads International Delegation to Minaret University, Ikirun

The Sadr of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Nigeria (MKAN), Roqib Akintunde Akinyemi led a distinguished group of international delegates on a visit to the newly approved Minaret University in Ikirun, Osun State, Nigeria on 20th April 2025.

The delegation included representatives from Ghana, Burkina Faso, and Benin Republic, who toured the university’s state-of-the-art facilities, including the mosque, laboratories, clinic, library, lecture offices, ICT building, and lecture halls.

The Ghanaian delegates comprised Ahmed Benyarko, Ahmed Kwaku Mensah, Mohammed Manu, and Mahadi Sentor. From Burkina Faso, the delegation included Abdur Rahman Poda, Mirza Iqaan Ahmad, and Haroon Traore. Representing the Benin Republic were Wassou Belco, Missionary Godonou Sikirou, Tonou Chafiou, Abraham Shafi’, Abladon Yahya, and Mouritala Mouhamad, alongside other members of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Nigeria.

During the visit, the Sadr referenced a Hadith stating that a traveller is among the three categories of people whose prayers are accepted by Allah. He encouraged the delegates, who had travelled great distances, to offer prayers for the university’s success and for those who contributed to its establishment. The prayer was led by a missionary from the Benin Republic.

Following the tour, the delegation proceeded to Lagos to continue their journey.
