This year Atfal and Nasrat Islamic Vacation Course, organized by Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Oyo State, was held at Abadina Basic Schools, University of Ibadan, Ibadan between 6th and 13th August, 2017 where more than 1200 children participated.
The programme had in attendance 622 Atfal and 640 Nasrat and series of events were done which include educational competitions, moral lessons, book review, sporting competitions, daily classroom sessions, exhibition, handcraft and examination. Outstanding pupils were thereby awarded with gift presentations.
In another development, the Majlis also attended the Youth Day organized by the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Oyo State Chapter held between 12th and 17th August, 2017.
The programme commenced with a Press Briefing, which the State Qaid, Bro Abdul Hakeem Awe, attended while on Wednesday 16th and Thursday, 17th featured Public Lecture and Peace Trek to sensitize the communities along Bodija Market on the significance of the day. Later, the youths met with the Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajumobi.
Concurrently, it also attended the maiden symposium to commemorate the International Youth Day on 12th August, 2017 at K.S Motel Hall, Total Garden, Ibadan in which 19 Majlis members attended the symposium, led by Monatan Dil’a Qaid, Bro Maruf Ajimoti.
