As part of efforts of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at to ensure that there is peaceful co-existence in the world, Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Osun Ilaqa has organized its second annual post Ramadan Lecture on 22nd July, 2017 at Oluwo’s Palace, Iwo, Osun State with the theme ‘Reconciling the Conflicting Nations and Aversion of the Third World War: Islamic Solution’.
In his welcome address, Osun State Qaid, Bro. Qasim Muh. Awwal stated that the event was aimed at letting everyone knows that it is important to have peaceful co-existence among Majlis members during and after Ramadan so that the whole world can be in peace.
In his opening remark, Amir AMJN, represented by Ede Circuit President, Alh. Yakubu Oni, who chaired the event, said that the theme of the event points to the fact that everybody is living in fear as the solution must be found so as to avoid third world war. He also stated that Muslims should be peace ambassadors anywhere they find themselves so that the world will be a better place for us to live.
In his lecture titled “Reconciling the Conflicting Nations and Aversion of the Third World War: Islamic Solution”, the Guest Lecturer, Ustaz Muh. Waiz Apooyin stated that the way individuals run the affairs of his family leads to what is happening in the world now as every family is a microscopic image of the Universe. He also said if they want to avoid the third world war, every family should abide by the rules and regulations that Almighty Allah set for them in the Holy Quran and also emulate Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw).
He further highlighted that Equity and Justice among nations and individuals should be highly emphasized as they play important roles in achieving peaceful co-existence in the world.
In his closing remark; Sadr MKAN, represented by Mauvin Sadr, Alh. Popoola Isiaq, Congratulated Osun Ilaqa for the successful hosting of the programme and lauded the Ilaqa as the only Ilaqa that had being organizing post-Ramadan lecture in the country. He also highlighted some of the challenges that Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Nigeria is facing; how the Majlis has been trying to conquer the challenges one by one. He further appreciated the effort of all the members of the Jama’at for the successful hosting of MKAN Economic Summit.
Present at the event were Circuit Missionaries, Khalifa of Qadiriyyah, NASFAT Missioner, representative of Ansar-ud-deen, representative of the Christan Association of Nigeria (CAN) President, Iwo chapter, 109 Khuddam, 40 Atfal, 55 Ansarullah, 90 Lajna and 35 Nasrat.
