Osun Police Operations Chief Lauds MKAN, Pledges Security Support for Convention

Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Alawoye Adekunle, the Officer in Charge of Operations at the Osun State Command of the Nigeria Police Force, has commended the Majlis Khuddam Ahmadiyya Nigeria (MKAN) for aligning with the objectives of the Force through youth-led peace initiatives and crime prevention advocacy.

During a courtesy visit by the organization to the Headquarters, Osun State Police Command on Tuesday, April 15th, 2025, CSP Alawoye expressed pleasure in partnering with MKAN to ensure a peaceful environment for the forthcoming convention. He warmly welcomed the delegation to the state and appreciated their efforts to work in synergy with the police. He noted that the Force was pleased to support such youth-centered activities and revealed plans to assign officers to support the event’s security operations.

Earlier in his address, the Acting Sadr (National President), Mr. Idris Fashina, who led the delegation introduced the organization and detailed the objectives of the 51st Annual National Convention scheduled to hold at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Ede. He highlighted programs focused on spiritual development, moral upliftment, and societal peace.

Mr. Fashina made particular mention of MKAN’s “Stop The Crime” campaign, a grassroots initiative designed to educate and sensitize communities on crime prevention, as a direct complement to the mission of the Nigerian Police. He also mentioned the free medical outreach planned as part of the organization’s humanitarian commitment to the host community.
