MKAN Sadr, ex-Sadr attend Jamia Zone Rishtanatah program

The newly-appointed Sadr Sahib, Majlis Khuddamul-Ahmadiyya Nigeria, Dr. Taofeeq Sanni, and the former Sadr, Engr Sa’eed Aina attended the annual Rishtanatah programme held at Jamia Ahmadiyya Mosque, Ilaro on 28th of November, 2020.

While giving his opening speech, the new Sadr stressed the significance of the programme, a major educative event in the MKAN, just as he urged the organizer for prompt hosting of the programme annually.

The Sadr Sahib while explaining that the program was his first outing as the Sadr, he sought all Majalis’ maximum supports and prayers towards making the task easy for him.

Bro Abdul Roqeeb Akinyemi, Lagos Ilaqa Qaid, the first lecturer who discussed ‘The Benefits of Early Marriage’ advised the members to always build their marriage on the foundation of piety and nothing else.

While giving instances from the western world, Islamic historical events, Prophet’s lifestyle, Imam Mahdi’s lifestyle, the Khulafah’s lifestyle, and his personal experiences as a back up to the topic, Bro Akinyemi charged the members to always see early marriage as something great for them and always avoid some irrelevant things that may poison their mind against this.

While concluding, he stated: “Whether your marriage is early or late, place your marriage on the principle of piety, it should be the pivot.”

The second lecture was delivered by Muallim Sulaiman Ogunkanmi on the topic, ‘Societal Marital Problems’.

He said that there’s no formula to solve marital problems or issues but an individual should find the one that suits his taste.

He also urged men to be careful of equality and equity as both should be justified between wives for those who want to go into polygamy to avoid problems.

He also added that men should spend wisely and judiciously amidst their wives and that women shouldn’t be treated wrongly.

He concluded that to curb marital problems, one should practice his religion well because women are spies in their respective homes.

Maulvi Abdul Azeem Ahmad, Principal Jamiatul Mubashireen, Ilaro, Ogun, in his speech, advised the students in higher institutions to always encourage early marriage as it entails many benefits and blessings.

Also, the immediate past Sadr, Engr Sa’eed Aina alluded that though Allah has placed men as the head of the house, this position shouldn’t be acted upon severely, rather, men should be a good communicator in the house.

The other participants at the programme include: Naib Sadr Southwest, Bro Abdul Jabbar Ayelaagb; Ogun State Qaid, Bro Ibrahim Idris ably represented by the Naib State Qaid Admin, Bro Sa’eed Ìdòwú; Jamia lecturers and missionaries, among others.

The programme had 84 Majlis members in attendance.
