MKA-Nigeria is the youth wing of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Nigeria. Our name literally means “Association of Servants of the True Islam.” The international organization was founded in 1938 and serves as the young men and boys auxiliary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
MKA-Nigeria is a dynamic and vibrant association serving not only the needs of its members but of its local communities and nation since 1972 when it was established. The association is comprised of more than 4,000 youths from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria aged 15 to 40, spread across the 36 states of the federation. MKAN is headquartered in Ahmadiyya Settlements, Ojokoro, Lagos State.
Operating under the auspices of the Khalifa of Islam, MKA-Nigeria is governed by the National Amila and led by it’s Sadr. The current Sadr is Dr. Taofeek Sanni. The National Amila is comprised of young men and youth from across the country.
The outreach activities of MKA-Nigeria are not limited to the Muslim community. It serves the needs of all members of society irrespective of color, race, religion or creed and promotes interfaith dialogue and co-operation in order to promote peace and harmony.
The Ahmadi Muslim Youths Organization have in their Calendar activities to improve their local communities, districts, state and national levels which they believe is part of their faith. They derives their inspiration from the true teachings of Islam that says, “Love for one’s country is a part of Faith”.

Stop TheCrime Campaign
Members of the organization from across the country organizes seminar, visits schools, motor parks, markets, and public gatherings to counsel people on the effects of crimes in the society. They promote outstanding moral behaviors, trust and integrity. Their believe is that a “Nations cannot be reformed without reformation of the youth.”
Dignity of Labour
Dignity of Labour (Waqar-e-Amal) has been the practice of not only Ahmadi Muslim Youth Organization, but a practice of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community all over the world. The youths from time to time gather to serve their community using man power. They construct pedestrian bridges on steam, fills potholes with debris, clears blocked gutter to allow free movement of water, cleans the streets and keeping their communities clean and health.
Ride For Peace
Considering the unrest and crisis going on around the world and the differences and diversities of Nigerians, Ahmadi Muslim Youths Organization organizes a large cycling event every year, ‘Ride4Peace’, which invites people from across major cities in Nigeria to cycle in order to promote love, peace and brotherhood. The Muslim Youths cycle in major cities of Nigeria; Abuja, Lagos, Kano, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Kogi, Benin, Abeokuta, Jos, Zaria among others, calling the attentions of people towards peace. Thousands of leaflets are shared during this yearly event hoping to unite Nigerians.
Climate change and greenhouse house effect has become a global concern in recent years. The need to plant more trees has been recognized as part of 2030 Sustainable Development Goals to better our world. The Ahmadi Muslim Youths Organization recognizes the effect of tree planting and have taken it up as their responsibility to make the earth greener. The youths takes tree planting to schools, police station, roads, places of worship to increase the air quality, contain Carbon dioxide, and reduce erosion.
Career and Entrepreneurship Clinic
Career and Entrepreneurship Clinic (CAREC) is Ahmadi Muslim Youths Organization initiative to equip youths on employability skills of the time. Members of the organization are trained on Adobe suites like Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom and Premiere. They are trained on entrepreneurial skills to increase their financial status and minimizing unemployment in the country and thus reducing crime rate.
