OKE-ỌKÀN, OGUN STATE – On Sunday, May 18, 2025,

Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya, Owode District, made a significant impact at the Grand Finale of the Ifekowajo Progressive Youth Council (IPYC) Day Celebration held at Òkè-Odan Community Town Hall, Sunday, May 18, 2025, Oke-Ọkàn, Ogun State.

The event, a grassroots initiative focused on community advancement, youth empowerment, and civic engagement, drew notable participation from youth leaders, law enforcement, community stakeholders, and traditional leadership.

The delegation, led by Mr. Kushimo Abdur-Rokeeb Adekunle (Vice Muhtamim Umumi, Mulk), included Mr. Bashir Fatai (Mutammad, Owode Dil’a), Mr. Taiwo Ogundipe (Nazim Atfal, Owode District), and Mr. Akarigidi Quazeem. Mr. Kushimo actively represented MKA Owode Dil’a by participating in all sessions with due attention and decorum, engaging with dignitaries, youth leaders, and community members, sharing perspectives on Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya’s efforts in youth reformation, and promoting the values of discipline, service, and leadership embedded in MKA’s mission.

The event featured insightful lectures, including:
Transformational Leadership in Community Development: Highlighting the importance of visionary leadership, strategic thinking, and youth involvement in shaping sustainable community development.

The Role of Security Agencies Towards Community Peace: Delivered by law enforcement officers, emphasizing mutual trust between residents and security operatives to combat crime and promote stability.

Use of Roads for Safety: Presented by TRACE officers, focusing on road safety education, responsible driving, pedestrian awareness, and accident prevention strategies.

The event was graced by:
Chief Rauf Saka, a respected community elder and patron of the youth council. CSP Olukunle Akeem, Divisional Police Officer, Owode Division. SUPT. Gafar A.O., TRACE Commander, Òkè-Odan Command.

Their presence underscored the importance of youth and community cooperation in achieving peace and development.

The Grand Finale of the IPYC Day Celebration was a highly impactful and enlightening event that aligned with the mission of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya.
