Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Lagos Island Dil’a has held its ‘Stop the Crime Campaign’ at Fadl-Omar Islamic Nursery/Primary School, Ojo Giwa Street, L/Island on 30th March, 2017 amid 54 pupils.
The campaign, coordinated by seven Majlis members, according to the Dil’a Qaid, Bro Abdul Hafeez Babatunde, is meant to disabuse the minds of the youths from crime and criminal activities and live a life of simplicity and honesty.
Also, the Dil’a members paid a courtesy visit to Naib Amir, SouthWest, Alhaji Abdul Azeez Alatoye at his residence in Awoyaya. In attendance were the Dil’a Qaid, Circuit Missionary, Ustadh A.Afeez Adeagbo; former Dil’a Qaid, Bro. Qamardeen Akinloye and Dil’a Nazim Atfal II, Bro. Idris Ogunwale, among others.
The Dil’a also held its Mini-Ijtema at Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Mosque, Awoyaya between Friday 3rd and Sunday 5th March, 2017. All educational competitions which include: Quran, Quiz, Speech and Message delivery were held alongside some sporting events such as: Football, Table-Tennis, Athletics and March-past training. Meanwhile, forty (40) members participated in this programme.
Meanwhile, Twenty-six (26) members of the Dil’a participated in the state Mini-Ijtema held at Mahmud Ahmadiyya College, Ijede between Friday 10th and Sunday 12th March, 2017. The Dil’a claimed seven (7) prizes in total from Quran, Quiz, 100m, 200m, Arm-Wrestling, Table-Tennis and football competitions.
Eighteen (18) members of Lagos-Island Dil’a pays visitation to Bro.Qadir Fakod at his residence in Ikorodu when he was ill on 12th March, 2017.
