Ahmadi Muslim Youth Organization (Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya), Ikoyi-Ile District has donated 20 pints of blood to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Hospital, Ogbomoso, Oyo State on 25th January, 2020 during its humanitarian programme.
The District youth leader, Missionary Fatir Abdulsalam led a group of 26 Ahmadi youths to Lautech Hospital to donate blood as part of its effort to serve humanity.
The practice of blood donation is well known with Ahmadi Muslim Youth Organization across Nigeria. They are known at Nigerian health institutions as an organization that contributes immensely towards saving of lives including provisions of medical equipment.
The management of the hospital blood bank appreciated the efforts of the youths, while appreciating them for the virtues they are known for.
In another development, Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sport in Osun State, Hon. Yemi Lawal has said that Ahmadi Muslim Youth Organization (Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya), Nigeria remains the most active youth organisation in the state, while charging other voluntary youth organizations to emulate the MKAN in the education of youths and provisions of humanitarian services in the communities.
Speaking at a meeting organized by the National Youth Council, Osun State Chapter on 6th February, 2020, Hon. Lawal said MKAN continued to become an organization to beat in making the youth morally, physically and academically relevant to the communities they belong.
The Honorable Commissioner has been invited to several programmes of the Ahmadi Muslim Youth in the state including the recent ride for peace programme where he was ably represented.
The Honorable Commissioner, according to the State Ahmadi youth leader, Bro Nurudeen Abdulateef, was aware of several humanitarian programmes of the Majlis which include: blood donation, tree planting, dignity of labour, ride for peace, stop the crime campaign and many more.
