Marking the National Waqar-e-Amal (Division of Labour) on 6th May, 2017, Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Ikorodu Dil’a has simultaneously held it at Ijede, along Area C Police Station and Igbogbo Bayeku Road, Ikorodu.
The community work, held at Primary Healthcare Centres in both locations, featured cutting of grass and clearing of drainage to make the centre more attractive and allow free passage of water in the community.
According to the report, the work will help the community to have a good and hygienic environment to carry out their activities and promotes love and good rapport between MKAN and the community.
More than 5 hours was expended on the work with 25 members of Majlis using rakes, cutlass, shovel, hand gloves, banners and uniform.
In another development, the Dil’a also held feted the Atfal and Nasrat during their Chidren’s Day Celebration on 20th May, 2017 to enjoy a relaxing environment outside the four walls of classrooms and mosque and to widen their horizons in the form of education.
The 188 children (90 Atfal and 98 Nasrat), brought from Ijede, Ikorodu, Bayeku and Igbogbo Muqameen, were taken to ‘Just Right’ – a big Supermarket at Ogolonto and Origin Zoological Garden, Ebute, Ikorodu.
The tour, which lasted for more than 7 hours, also had the participation of 11 Lajna Imaillah and 8 Khuddam members respectively.
