As part of activities for 2017 Majlis Khuddam Welfare Week, Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Etsako Dil’a has visited the sick people at the General Hospital, Auchi on 10th November, 2017.
The Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Mr Alonge Taiwo, welcomed the members, led by the Qaid, Bro Suleiman Abu Isa, before they were permitted to visit the wards were the patients laid. Muallim Tirmizi Adeniran, Auchi Circuit Missionary, led a prayer for the sick patients before they were presented welfare packages.
Before the departure, members of MKAN discovered that some wires within the control board were the light of the entire hospital was connected was burning. The visiting party offered to fix the issue which was also in line with their welfare visitation. Thereafter, an electrician among the khuddam was requested to bring his tools in order to fix the problem.
The hospital sought the help of the Majlis to get new manual blood pressure machine, sphygmomanometer which was no longer functioning They also informed members of a patient that was operated and has been discharged but has not been able to leave the hospital owing to his inability to settle the hospital bills. In a remarkable gesture by the Qaid, he immediately supported the hospital bills with a sum of five thousand naira.
