In a bid to orientate the youths on best ways to become entrepreneurs at this dwindling economy, Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Oyo State has organized a maiden Economic Summit on 23rd September, 2017 at Ahmadiyya Central Mosque, Oke-Ado, Ibadan.
The event, which was part of line up programmes for the 2017 State Officers’ Workshop, gather hundreds of youths from around Oyo State who share common interest in practical solutions for sustainable business, vocational, career and entrepreneurship development through global innovation.
As a faith-based and voluntary youth organization recognizing the relationship betwén this world and the hereafter, the summit was tagged “Achieving the Best of Both Worlds”, bringing in experts from major fields of life especially successful entrepreneurs as panelists to discuss and sensitize the participants on their various experience.
Major discourses were centred on Commerce, Entrepreneurship, Agriculture and ICT. A Marriage Seminar (Rishtanata) was also held.
However, the second phase featured the religious scholars who brought Islamic point of view to balance the discourse.
The event marked the presence of Sadr, MKAN, Engr Saheed Aina, Mulk Officers, Representatives of government agencies/parastatals, the state chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Com. Mrs Bobola Agbeja and her entourage, among others.
Over 120 members of Majlis participated in the workshop while members of other auxiliaries (Ansarullah, Lajnah, and guests outside the Jamaal) attended the Summit.
