Majlis Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya of Nasarawa Dil’a and Abuja Dil’a hosted a dynamic three-day Atfal Camp, themed “The Joy of Being a Tifl.” from May 23rd to 25th, 2025.

The event brought together 77 Atfal and 19 Khuddam handlers, fostering brotherhood, spiritual growth, and a renewed sense of purpose among young Ahmadis.

The camp featured a rich blend of educational, spiritual, and recreational activities. Interactive sessions on Islamic teachings, the life of the Promised Messiah (as), and the responsibilities of a Tifl engaged participants through discussions and reflective group activities. Competitive events, including Qur’an recitation, speech contests, and sports, sparked enthusiasm while reinforcing the camp’s theme of finding joy in their identity as Atfal.

Educational excursions were a highlight, with visits to a Honda dealership/workshop, where Atfal learned about automotive technology and the values of discipline and innovation. A tour of a pure water factory offered insights into water safety and hygiene, while a trip to the National Park and Zoo provided both recreation and lessons on wildlife conservation and Allah’s creation.

Emphasis on congregational prayers and moral training, led by experienced Khuddam, instilled discipline and spiritual focus. The camp successfully strengthened bonds among Atfal from both Dil’as, leaving them with cherished memories and valuable lessons.

Mr. Adeomi Nurudeen, Naib Atfal Abuja Ilaqa, hailed the event as a resounding success, noting its profound impact on participants. Recommendations for future camps include extending their duration, introducing skill-based workshops like public speaking and first aid, and encouraging greater involvement from parents and local missionaries.

The Atfal Camp stands as a testament to the vibrant spirit of young Ahmadis, equipping them to embrace their roles within the Jama’at with pride and purpose.
