Colonel O.O. Akinfotire, Chief of Staff of the Nigerian Army Engineers, Headquarters, Engineer Construction Command, Ede, has warmly received the leadership of Majlis Khuddam Ahmadiyya Nigeria (MKAN), expressing trust in the youth body for its commitment to peace and moral development.
He made this known during a courtesy visit by the organization on Tuesday, April 15th, 2025. Colonel Akinfotire praised the group’s peaceful initiatives and advised the delegation to maintain decorum and positive engagement with the Ede community throughout their upcoming activities. He pledged the Army’s support and confirmed his intention to attend the symposium of the convention scheduled for Saturday, April 19th.

Leading the MKAN team, the Acting Sadr (National President), Mr. Idris Fashina, introduced the organization and briefed the command on the 51st Annual National Convention, its objectives, and impact. He explained that the event would feature spiritual sessions, moral enlightenment, and a humanitarian medical outreach, all geared towards the betterment of society.
Mr. Fashina also noted that this year’s convention follows the 50th anniversary edition held in Abuja, marking another milestone in the organization’s journey.
