The Ahmadi Muslim Students’ Association Nigeria held its Annual Tabligh Workshop at the Ahmadiyya Science College, Ilaro, held from 25th December 2022 to 1st January 2023
The workshop which was the 7th edition was aimed at establishing the facts on the truthfulness of the belief of the Ahmadiyya and elucidating contemporary allegations against the fold to the participants.
In his opening speech, The National Tabligh Secretary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria; Barr. Muhammad Bashir Badru addressed the participants to be different and outstanding with their identity and actions as they’re followers of the Imam of the age.
The program which also featured a career talk session was anchored by the CAREC Coordinator, MKAN; Mu’allim Abbas Agbaje who he admonished the participants to have a vision and build values to be able to deliver value and get the right identity and get a good income to make an impact in people and at places.
He added that individuals should engage with people that will transform their life, and relate with people that embody their identities.
The scholar also encouraged the participants to raise the standard of their choices and get rid of bad behaviours, evil, immoral and unambitious people to be in a proper and pure state to experience good transformation and make them successful in their mission and vision.
At the Marriage seminar held during the workshop, The member, Dārul Qadhā AMJN; Dr Sa’eed Olurotimi Timehin emphasized the need to marry within the fold as no religion or sect ever survives on earth without being endogamic. He added that participants should continuously strive to be better spiritually and morally, and get a good company with a partner with a passion for religion to keep them upright.
Dr Sa’eed Olurotimi Timehin also reiterated the need to imbibe good actions and avoid satanic doings as the prerequisites to being pious and getting pious partners.
The renowned scholar added that participants should pray for Allah’s guidance before choosing partners and he encouraged individuals to not lose their identity by choosing the wrong partner.
Towards the end of the program, Naib Amir, AMJN; Alh. (Engr.) Mufadhil Bankole urged the students to be good ambassadors of the Jama’at, and be good exemplars to others. He mentioned that only Allah can bless efforts with success, and he encouraged participants to work hard and pray hard to achieve their goals.
The enlightenment from the workshop classes goes around topics like Ahmadiyyah’s perception of the Concept of Tawhid, the Finality of Prophethood, the Truthfulness of the Promised Messiah, and The True Concept of Jihad among others.
The program also featured educative and entertaining sessions including inspiring sections on various poems of the Promised Messiah, friendly matches with the Jami’at-ul-Mubashireen Ilaro Students, and other sporting activities to mention but a few.
