Ahmadi Muslim Students’ Association (AMSA) is proposing to get a bus exclusive to the Association with a view to assisting its activities across units and institutions.
According to the report, Amir, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria, Dr Mashhud Adenrele Fashola has approved the project while AMSA members have started donating towards the cause.
Besides, while AMSA proposed to have a nationwide campaign tagged “Do It Right” across all campuses where AMSA members are, it recently reviewed her constitution to make room for some current activities and to legalise some hitherto unsanctioned practices, seeking approval of the Sadr, MKAN, Engr Saheed Aina for the amendment to be upheld.
In a related development, AMSA LAUTECH held its Annual Propagation Week between 14th and 20th May, 2017 with the theme “Inter-Religious Peace: our Last Lifeline”.
The highlights of the event include: Spelling Bee for Atfal and Nasrat, blood Donation, Health Talk, Excursion to Badagry and Sobi Hills in Ilorin, Educational events and Indoor Games, among others.
Also, AMSA SPED held a-3 day special prayer between 27th and 29th May, 2017 to seek Allah’s blessings on all AMSA members in Nigeria, complimented with 5 days fasting. Meanwhile, the whole Qur’an was read for 3 days and a ram slaughtered for the acceptance of the prayer.
