Saddled with the responsibility to inculcate moral and spiritual teachings in the children, Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, Alimosho Dil’a has organised a 3-day Atfal and Nasrat Camp/Workshop between 17th and 19th November, 2017 at Ahmadiyya Mosque, Ikotun.
The programme featured a Walk for Peace in the form of Tabligh (Preaching) to the Palace of Oba of Ikotun where th children engaged in chanting Kalimatu-t-Tayyibah and exchanging words of peace and message of Islam with the members of public.
The children also paid a welfare visitation to Pa F.A. Timehin, an Ansar and former Naib Sadr, Majlis Ansarullah, Nigeria.
The highlight of the programme was the handcraft session, chaired by the Circuit President, Alhaji Abdul Mujeeb Idris, where the children engaged in making wooden electric extension boxes; on each were four sockets with the capacity to supply electricity to homes and and offices.
According to the participants, the extension boxes could also help in supplying electricity to Jama’at’s public address system during lectures.
