The Governor of Osun State, Senator (Dr) Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke, has applauded the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria for its remarkable contributions to the growth and strength of Islam in the country.
Delivering the Governor’s message at the symposium of the Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Nigeria (MKAN) National Convention held at the Admus International Event Center, Dr. Maruf Ishola, Chairman of the Osun State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board, described the Ahmadiyya community as a key player in the evolution of Islam in Nigeria.
“I’m happy to be here. I’m not surprised to see Ahmadiyya achieving great things,” he conveyed on behalf of the Governor. “If not for the emergence of Ahmadiyya in Nigeria, I wonder what the state of Islam would be today.”
Governor Adeleke, through his representative, encouraged the Ahmadiyya youth body to remain focused and sincere in its mission to spread the teachings of Islam. He assured the community that their efforts would continue to be divinely supported. “Keep spreading the word of Allah with sincerity and focus. Allah will always be with you,” he noted.
In a heartfelt appeal, the Governor also called on the community to pray for Osun State, acknowledging the power of prayer in overcoming societal and administrative challenges, while extending warm greetings and commending the peaceful conduct of the convention.
