Ahmadi Muslim Students’ Association, Oyo State Chapter has held its Annual Orientation Programme at Ahmadiyya Central Mosque, Monatan, Ibadan on 1st February, 2020.
The annual orientation programme was themed: “Graduating with Difference: It Begins Now” as the keynote lecture was delivered by Bro. Ajibade Taofeek Sahib
The event was organized for secondary school leavers and admission seekers across Oyo State with a view to orientating them on ways to cross the hurdles of gaining admission successfully, to help them attain and maintain academic excellence right from inception and also to monitor their academic, moral and spiritual developments in their various institutions.
Topics discussed at the event were: “The Diverse Applicability of Basic Higher Education Qualifications in 21st Century Nigeria”, and “Commitment and Steadfastness: A Tool for Upholding Moral and Academic Excellence” delivered by Bro Ibrahim Atiba, Oyo State Deputy Ahmadi Youth Leader (representing Bro. Muftau Hussein, Oyo State Youth Leader) and Missionary AbdulFatir AbdulSalaam respectively.
Meanwhile, the three topics were discussed extensively on how success and achievement could be attained and maintained in higher institutions right from inception through commitments, steadfastness and regularity in Jama’at activities.
Meanwhile, 15 admission seekers, 15 secondary school leavers, 11 executive members and 10 varsity students in Oyo State benefited from the programme.
The dignitaries at the event include: General Secretary, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Monatan Circuit and Chairman of the occasion, Alh. Azeez Kelani; President, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Aremo, Bro. Ajibade Taofeek; immediate past MKA Oyo State Youth Leader, Bro. Akeem Awe; former Monatan District Head, Bro. Ma’ruf Ajimoti; Missionary AbdulFatir AbdulSalaam, Ogbomoso District Head and Oyo State Naib Umoor Talaba, Bro. Toyeeb Ademoye, among others.
